staffbay doesn't run for free, but it does run on trust – we want to make finding the right job as easy as we can.

We know companies could find ways to contact you directly, but certain patterns of behaviour will alert us to potential breaches in that trust, and we will remove users if we have to.

But the most effective policing is if you as candidates help us. staffbay is all about building relationships by bringing candidates and employers closer together through our site, and when they sign up, employers agree not to approach candidates outside staffbay. We're transparent about our charges: £300 or £500 depending on the salary when you accept a job offer, so employers are already saving hundreds or thousands of pounds on recruitment.

That's why if you help us identify an employer who's breaking that trust by offering you a job directly and not through staffbay, they have to pay us a £4500 charge.

We'll pass that £4500 on to you.
