SMTS Limited is an international health and safety training and consultancy provider.
With our corporate head office located in Middlesborough and other offices based globally, we provide health and safety consultancy and training to a number of organisations involved in gas / oil extraction, construction, mining, petroleum retail, engineering and warehousing located in the UK, Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Kazakhstan and Turkey and we are further developing our operations in other global locations such as Asia and Australia.
We are currently looking to recruit a suitably experienced and qualified health and safety consultant / trainer to assist us deliver our services in the UK and overseas in order for us to meet our expanding operational commitments.
Ideally located in the South East / West of the UK
Experience in health and safety training / consultancy, in particular the following areas would be desirable:
NEBOSH International General Certificate
NEBOSH National General Certificate
NEBOSH Fire Safety Management and Risk Assessment Certificate
NEBOSH Gas and Oil Certificate
NEBOSH International Construction Certificate
IOSH Managing Safely
IOSH Working Safely
IOSH Directing Safely
Experience in acting as an appointed safety advisor in order to assist organisations meet their requirements of regulation 7 of The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulation.
Reporting to the Operations Director the role will involve travel within the UK and overseas and will be home office based.
