Centric Recruitment & Training Ltd have an immediate requirement for an experienced Logistics Manager. Reporting to the Works Director, the candidate will have experience of / be responsible for:

Co-ordinating drivers / loaders to provide a flexible working team.

Balance daily transport loads, itemised by customer requirements and budget targets.

Liaise with customers and advise on deliveries.

Evaluate and maximise load utilisation at all times.

To have a good knowledge and understanding of rules and regulations relating to Drivers and transport issues and to ensure that the company comply with relevant legislation.

To carry out relevant training as and when required.

To adhere to all Despatch and other transport related procedures.
