Technical Machine Operator

£25000 - £28000

Our client based in the Normanton area, have an immediate requirement to recruit 2 well versed Technical Machine Operators to join their team.

Duties Include:

Operate the appropriate machinery to produce products of the required quality and within customers’ specifications.
Constantly monitor output to ensure that it is of the standard required, rejecting any that does not meet the standards.
Take appropriate corrective action to rectify problems as they may occur.
Make any necessary adjustments to machinery to ensure that the required product quality is maintained.
Ensure any adjustments made are recorded and documented within the SPC procedures.
Ensure all relevant information is accurately input into the company’s business system for shop floor data collection purposes.
Carry out the required QA testing to ensure the product meets customers’ requirements and strict specifications and accurately record results.
Ensure the operation of the machinery remains within minimum waste, and quality rejects.
Assist in the general preventative maintenance of the machine including cleaning of heads etc.,
Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate a background in the print or packaging industry.

This is a permanent role where you will be expected to work the following shift pattern:

Week 1 - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday DAYS ( 6am - 6pm )

Week 2 - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday NIGHTS (6pm - 6am )

Week 3 - Monday & Tuesday DAYS, Wednesday OFF, Thursday and Friday Nights

In return you can expect a starting salary of £25k rising £27k after the completion of a 6 month probation.
