Global metallurgical business supplying high integrity components into a variety of industries including Oil & Gas, Automotive and Aerospace seeks an Operations Director/ General Manager. The ideal candidate is likely to come from a “Heavy Engineering” background such as Steelworking, CNC Machining, Casting, Forging, Rolling etc. The successful candidate will be tasked with autonomously running a business unit, bringing strategic direction, along with a strong focus on developing and improving manufacturing procedures. The role realistically requires someone that can analyse the operation, be confident in making decisions and act with speed. There are high expectations in place for the successful candidate, and performance to these will be rewarded accordingly.
