Job Description

Centric Recruitment & Training Ltd have an immediate requirement for an experienced Planning Engineer.

Reporting to the Planning Manager, duties will include:

Interpreting customer orders and to provide manufacturing data / cnc programs to the production departments as required

To provide technical support to manufacturing departments and processes.

Provide and prove the most cost effective methods of manufacturing including: Investigation and procurement of suitable equipment. Work measurement and line balancing - using a hands on approach

To provide CNC programs for a variety of machines.

To produce engineering drawings using Auto Cad 2012 and Autodesk Inventor 2012 from customer specifications and shop floor engineering data

To provide multi-level Bill of Manufacture (BOM) via Syteline software for internal usage from raw to finished product, incorporating routing data with associated costings for materials and labour.

To assess customers’ orders on a daily basis with the relevant manager to satisfy plant-manufacturing feasibility to minimize customer lead-time delay.
