Hours: 40 per week
Salary: £40k-£50k depending on experience

The role

To work with creative teams, information architects, developers and clients, establishing the brief and delivering transactional and/or marketing websites along with off line requirements when needed.

The role combines Account Management and Project management of small/medium-sized projects. The candidate must have come from a background of print and digital and grown into this role through experience of working in creative/IA teams.

The ideal candidate will be able to liaise and meet with senior employees within our client base and work to grow the accounts. They will be able to manage multiple projects and manage workflow in the studio and in addition work with the team in delivery when needed and when it makes the best business sense.

This role will suit someone who is able to take responsibility at a high level but understand the commercial realities of a small business where everyone has at least 3 hats! The successful candidate will need a broad range of skills in this industry.

Skills & experience
• Experience and understanding of strategy, information architecture, user journey analysis and optimisation, creative development and html development processes
• Experienced project management – producing schedules, cost estimates, status and contact reports; tracking time; chasing and progressing
• Skilled user of Microsoft Project; Excel; Word; PowerPoint;

• Account Management disciplines
• Ability to manage own workload across projects
• On and offline experience
• Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements, diverse project needs, and tight timelines
• Willingness and ability to travel occasionally



Primary responsibilities
• Ensuring that approved concepts are taken through, with integrity, to delivery – normally as Photoshop files and/or an html prototype – on brief, on time, and on budget
• Help in developing project proposals & statements of work
• Defining the scope of the project, producing a detailed plan encompassing project stages, delivery dates, budget and resource requirements
• Managing the delivery schedule and delivery of the project on time, within budget and to quality, liaising with internal and third party resources
• Day-to-day client contact managing client expectations
• Managing project resources and assigning team roles
• Managing risks and impact analysis
• Managing change control and quality control process
• Tracking budgets and forecasting



Good to have
• Financial services experience – although this is a good to have the candidate must have as a minimum an interest in this industry.
• BA degree or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of directly-related online experience – preferably agency-side
• Able to demonstrate career progression





General

This role’s core element is project management as described in the core competencies. However the areas of Account management, IA/creative delivery and a willingness to understand the FS market, which sit around the core role is as essential to the success this role.
