Job Description

SUMMARY

Red Squid are looking for Sales Account Managers to manage existing accounts and drive new business opportunities within our existing client base as well as new acquisition within defined territories across the UK.

The successful candidate must have a proven track record of account management. They must be able to identify opportunities to cross/up sell additional products within a client. The Sales Account manager is the key point of contact for our accounts to contact with respect to any aspect of the relationship with Red Squid. As such, we are looking for responsive individuals who are professionally mannered and able to develop relationships further.

Excellent communication skills are a prerequisite in this role and you may be required to present to both potential clients and senior management internally on a regular basis. The role will include a small amount of visiting clients in order to develop relationships to the next level. The right candidate is driven by winning and will have a proven track record of exceeding targets in all areas within previous roles.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Develop existing relationships with accounts in a defined territory
• Retain existing business by providing first class service and support to accounts
• Cross sell additional products to existing clients
• Seek out new business opportunities
• Gaining referrals to sell our products and services from existing clients
• Present updates with respect to pipeline on a routine basis
• Report on a weekly basis activity levels and opportunities found in market
• Achieving targets for new business, upgrades and revenue
