Job Title: Security Supervisor - Drake Circus

Location: Drake Circus Shopping Centre

Pay Rate: GBP13.50

Hours per week: Variable Shift Rota - 07:00 - 19:00 - 42 hours per week

Role Overview

If you are an experience security officer who is looking for a dynamic role, we would love to hear from you! You will supervise staff in their day-to-day duties and lead by example to ensure the highest standards while maintaining peak operational efficiency through collaboration with colleagues and managers. This role will require you to respond to and manage incidents, accidents and occurrences whilst on site and act as the on-site bronze or silver command if required. You must hold a SIA Door Supervisor License for this role - first aid training would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

- Proactive supervision of staff and resources ensuring that high standards are maintained.
- Development of team including building relationships, evaluation of training needs and working to develop a highly motivated team.
- Ensure all areas of the estate are patrolled sufficiently to minimise risk.
- Deliver the highest standards of service to public, retailers, contractors and colleagues.
- Liase and proactively communicate with managers and operatives on day to day operation matters.
- Ensure that the estate is safe and welcoming by proactive use of resource.
- Assist in the sickness, absence, appraisal and monitoring of staff as required.
- Handle difficult responsibilities in a calm and professional manner

About You:


- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
- Proven experience working in a Security role
- Current Door Supervisor SIA License is required
- First aid certification is preferred but not essential
- Strong knowledge of security procedures and protocols
- Computer literate.
- Able to interact at all levels from visitors to senior management.
