Manufacturing/Production Project Co-ordinator

We have an exciting project and are looking for a Manufacturing/Production Project Co-ordinator to join our team.

You would come from a manufacturing/production or product design background and would have held a project co-ordinator role. Ideally if your background has involved project co-ordination for the relocation of production lines or facilities this would be highly advantageous.

The Project Coordinator is an integral member of the project team responsible for coordinating projects of varying size and complexity within the business. The Project Coordinator is responsible for organising project activities and for communicating risks, opportunities and the current state of projects to all stakeholders.

Main duties/key tasks

- Support the Management team and Project Sponsor to identify and define project scope, requirements and objectives, assist with the preparation of project proposals, timeframes, schedule and budget
- Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures
- Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment and information
- Ensure all project deliverables are met, initiating corrective actions where required
- Determine and track project changes
- Provide administrative support as needed
- Undertake project tasks as required
- Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective
- Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation, plans and reports are maintained appropriately for each project
- Assess project risks, issues and opportunities, seek to provide solutions and escalate where appropriate
- Ensure that the business needs are met as the project evolves and stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution
- Prepare necessary materials for meeting presentations and reporting purposes
- Chair and facilitate meetings, distribute minutes as appropriate and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings
- Provide current information on the project status for all stakeholders.


Knowledge, Qualification & Experience

- Experience in co-ordinating of projects within a manufacturing or production environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project management tools
- A `can do` attitude, combined with strong team working skills
- A high level of commercial acumen
