Job Description

As part of our ongoing expansion plans we are looking for an application support developer with strong development and support experience of Visual Basic 6 (VB6) and Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL). The role within the development team is to provide support and enhance an existing market leading mature software application within the extensive AES Medical portfolio.

The appointee will be responsible for:

• Incident logging, analysis and resolution
• Root cause investigation
• Analysis and development of business changes to the application
• Proactive system enhancements.

Candidates will have proven skills and experience in a similar role and knowledge of the following is required:

• Visual Basic 6
• SQL Server

The successful candidate will be a strong team player with a methodical and organised approach. Strong analytical and problem solving skills are essential. Experience of interfacing and liaising with 3rd party suppliers would be advantageous.

Salary range £25k-£35k depending upon skills and experience plus benefits.
