The Company:

• Their specialist product range includes innovative bags, bespoke gift boxes, janitorial products and specialist promotional print items.

The Role:
• The relevant candidate will ensure continued success of the organisations business growth within the high end retail market
• The chosen Business Development Manager will work both individually and as part of a knowledgeable team, demonstrating strong sales and negotiating skills.
• The position a strong driven individual with a willingness to succeed and a proven track record in new business sales.
• Identify and qualify potential target customers
• Develop strategic plans and sales strategies for each target retail market sector
• Understand the customers’ business model and processes to identify new opportunities for the business to add value to the client
• Secure meetings with key stakeholders and decision makers within those target prospect customers
• Prepare presentations aimed at the relevant target audience focussing on the benefits of my client
• Negotiate profitable new business sales against set targets
• Provide accurate sales forecasts
• Continually obtain up to date data of trends within the retail market and stay abreast of my clients competition ensuring this is regularly reported back to the business Sales Director
• Write and deliver high quality tender responses to ensure successful outcomes
• Lead and coordinate internal sales projects including new business implementation when needed
• The position can be either office or home based and reports directly into the Sales Director (SD).
