Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional candidate with extensive dementia care experience for the position of : CARE HOME MANAGER

(Candidates must have NMC UK Nursing PIN in order to apply for this position.)

•Prestigious care home in Heathfield, East Sussex

•Dementia care – Approx 30 beds

•Exceptional candidate required – must have strong clinical and marketing skills and experience of managing a home with a high proportion of demetia clients

•Good knowledge of the local area required

•Negotiable up to £47k for the right candidate

The Home Manager is the person who is responsible for the day to day running of a registered care home and who has overall responsibility for the running of the home and meeting its statement of purpose. The Home Manager must be qualified, competent and experienced to run the home and meet its stated purpose, aims and objectives.

The Home Manager approach should create an open, positive and inclusive atmosphere. The Home Manager is also responsible for demonstrating strong positive ideas about professional practice and right of the individuals (particularly privacy, independence and choice) and adhering to National Minimum Standards, and all relevant legislative requirements.
