Chef de Partie Axis Restaurant

Axis at One Aldwych has a stylish design and exciting Modern British menus. Tony Fleming, our Executive Chef, has created a fantastic menu inspired by the best seasonal ingredients

We are now looking to recruit a Chef de Partie to work as part of the team under Tony Fleming.

Tony Fleming joined One Aldwych hotel as Executive Chef in Spring 2007. He was previously head chef at the former Great Eastern Hotel for four years, and prior to this was sous chef at Richard Neat’s Neat Restaurant, London, and worked with Marco Pierre White at both the Oak Room and The Criterion.

As a Chef de Partie you will be fanatical about food and have a good knowledge of British and Modern European cuisine. Ideally you have experience working in a similar environment at the same level and you will be passionate about delivering excellent quality consistently. Axis Restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday for Lunch and Dinner.

The successful candidate will:

Currently be a Chef de Partie or a Chef de Partie
Have a NVQ Level 1 & 2 Catering qualification or equivalent
Have a Level 2 Food Safety and Catering qualification or equivalent
Be a good team player
Have a good command of the English language
Be well groomed and presented
Have the right to work in the United Kingdom
