Are you a CNC Turner who wants to work with state of the art machinery and manufacturing techniques in a role that offers a three day weekend every week?

About Us

CNC milling machines are the heart of the manufacturing industry. Few people have ever seen or heard of them, and yet they produce more than $100Bn worth of components every year, serving every manufacturing vertical.

Despite this, the software that is used to control them remains in the dark ages, requiring hours to days of manual instruction by a highly skilled machinist before a component can be produced. Full automation of CNC milling would represent one of the most disruptive innovations ever seen in manufacturing, slashing the cost of metal components by multiples globally, and it is exactly this innovation that CloudNC has developed.

Our artificially intelligent software can program these machines to manufacture components in minutes, where today an expert machinist needs days to weeks. The manufacture itself is also faster and more reliable, and thereby cheaper.

We are levering this technology to build fully autonomous robotic factories, able to flexibly produce perfect components at a fraction of the cost and time of what is possible today. Join us, and help us make the vision of autonomous manufacturing a reality.

We work to engineer, manufacture, and develop the innovations that will enable us to produce the highest quality metallic components to customer requirement, whilst reducing lead times and cost.

CNC Turner Responsibilities

As a CNC Turner you will be responsible for the programming, set up and operating of our CNC Lathes (DMG NLX). You may also work closely with our CAM programming team to ensure that machine tool paths are executed safely and efficiently in accordance with production demands that meet both customer and business requirements.

You will use your in depth understanding of the turning machine centre control interface to successfully program, create component origins, and be responsible for the monitoring and updating of the machine tool turret to correct specification.

You will be responsible for the machining of metallic components using the latest manufacturing technologies & processes.

You will be someone who thrives working in an autonomous environment where you are encouraged to develop yourself and continually look at improved ways of working.
