Dudley Child are working with a well established, global manufacturing organisation. This specialist within Industrial machinery and equipment, rotating equipment and surfacing technology are focused on the appointment of a Commissioning and Test Engineer to be based in the Midlands area. The Role Working within the Turbo Services division, you will be responsible for the verification of safety and protection systems prior to reinstallation and putting of machines back into service. Amongst your key responsibilities and tasks you will; • Assess Test and Commissioning areas of Tender Agreements • Prepare Testing and Commissioning programme, ensuring adherence to company and client requirements • Prepare test equipment suitable for timely project completion on site • Conduct site testing programme and prepare Commissioning Report • Preparation of Method Statement and QESH Documentation The Person The successful candidate will have a technical background and experience in the testing of Large Machines to the Relevant Standards – IEC60034. A degree in relevant subject area (Preferable) HNC / HND depending on practical experience. We are also keen to hear from candidates with a background as a Test Engineer for a large manufacturer of Electrical Machines (Rotating).
