EMS Facilities Test Engineer
Coventry

My client is a leading supplier to the automotive sector and is currently recruiting for A Test Engineer to To operate as a testing & instrumentation expert for engines and vehicles within EMS Facilities section

Key Responsibilities:
- To take responsibility for provision of “best practice” test methods and processes, including suitable equipment, data collection, and data processing.
- Focused on testing using engine dynamometers, and in vehicle Testing, to measure and analyse fundamental aspects of component and system Performance such as torque, efficiencies, energy losses, and similar.
- Provide process development and improvement where needed.
- Take responsibility for certain areas of Facilities operation which are directly related to test process and quality – e.g. control of test equipment including calibration & records.

Person Specification:
- Honors Degree in suitable Engineering or Science subject, minimum 2:1 level.
- Alternatively, HND or equivalent may be considered for an exceptional candidate.
- In depth knowledge of vehicle and engine testing for an automotive development Environment.
- Detailed knowledge of engine management system and software.
