Job Title: Engineering Assurance Manager

Salary: Competitive

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 08:00 - 16:30 - 37.5 hours per week

Location: Glasgow

Your primary responsibilities will include:


- Documenting fit for purpose policy and procedures for electrical & mechanical safety activities that can be applied across the Technical Services business.
- Provide expertise on site via audits, support, incident management and investigation.


- Establish relationships with engineering teams, contract teams and customers to promote a culture of safety, compliance, standards and continuous improvement.
- Work with external contractors to review their performance and internal procedures to ensure they are providing an efficient and compliant service.


- Liaise with our customers to provide accurate and complete guidance regarding safety and compliance on their estate, whether as part of an Atalian Servest contract or otherwise
- Understand the service delivery on contracts and provide and ensure responsibilities fall to the correct parties and duty holders for the resolution of compliance issues.

Planning & Organising

- Support in the transition of new contract mobilisations for both the estate and the engineering workforce through TUPE.
- Lead the development and implementation of electronic service records, ensuring these are fully fit for purpose and maximise engineer availability and accessibility of information for the customer.

Commercial / Financial

- Support the business development teams in bidding for new works by providing full safety and compliance solutions to meet the customer`s needs
- Provide further opportunity of works on service contracts by providing advice on compliance remedial works, additional works and projects as required.


- Support and encourage teams in the proactive development of their engineering delivery and mitigation of risk. Escalate where required and always ensure the safe and compliant delivery of service.
- Align all of workforce to a newly defined engineering job family.

Health & Safety

- Plan and complete a plan of audits through both site visits, engineer shadowing and desktop review of records. Take appropriate remedial actions to resolve and escalate as necessary.
- Report to the Senior Management Team on a quarterly basis on active risks to the business, their mitigation and resources required to do so.

Experience and Qualifications

- 5+ years working within building services / facilities management.
- Candidates will ideally be either trade qualified and experienced or qualified within an Engineering discipline. IEng or CEng Professional registration with a relevant body is advantageous.
- Understanding of Microsoft Office software packages.
- Experience in a compliance or safety role is desirable.
