Want to work within the UK`s word-class events and creative industries?

We build over 200 events every week. So we`re always looking for motivated and hands-on individuals to join our award-winning crew.

We help the best producers and organisers in the business set-up cutting edge creative events and corporate conferences - as well as sets for film, TV and advertising.

Whether you`re experienced or new to the industry - if you`re bright, polite and physically fit then you could thrive at Connection Crew.

We provide training and experience in the nuts and bolts of producing shows and events - manual handling and logistics, building sets and stages, setting up lights and AV - and so much more.

Every day is different. One day you might be building a stage at a festival, the next you could be loading and setting up AV at a celebrity awards ceremony.

This freelance position gives you the opportunity to:

- Work behind the scenes at renowned venues, shows and events
- Manage your availability through our app and earn money at times to suit you
- Support people out of homelessness; we`re a Social Enterprise working with charities to offer people who`ve experienced homelessness training and employment
- Take part in our Connection Crew Academy, a career development programme for all of our crew covering skills training, masterclasses and mentoring

Seeing amazing venues and events from the other side can be rewarding - it`s also incredibly demanding.

The following criteria is essential:

- Positive attitude and hard-working
- Excellent time keeping
- Willing to work long, unsociable hours
- Strength + stamina: this is physically demanding work
- Able to communicate effectively and work well in a team


Desirable Criteria includes:

- Experience of working with AV companies, or in the events industry
- Manual handling experience including warehouse work, preferably heavy lifting
- Driving license and experience of driving commercial vehicles
- Operators of telehandlers, fork lifts, cherry pickers or scissor lifts
