Our client provides highly professional, bespoke case management to adults and children with a range of life-changing conditions/injuries.

They pride themselves on delivering a specialist service that recognises the uniqueness of every client; all with very different aspirations and challenges.

They are looking for a warm, patient and reliable individual to work alongside the family to support and facilitate the independence of a 3 and a half year old girl who sustained a brain injury as a baby. She enjoys playing with her dolls, swimming and animals.

Core hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 9 am (2 hours) and also 6 hours on a Friday or Saturday (as noted above) as we are looking for evening support to offer her parents time away from their caring role and to support her to engage in leisure activities and to use local amenities such as the leisure centre and play facilities. At times, it may be necessary to work additional hours depending on the activities that the client wishes to attend.

The Support Worker will also work with independent therapists in enabling the client to participate in effective neuro rehabilitation.

Having excellent communication skills and maintaining a consistent and proactive approach, you will be part of a small team working with the family.

The successful candidate will encourage and support her to access all these opportunities and more (ability to drive with use of a car is essential)
