Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a knowledgeable, empathetic, and passionate Fitness Qualification Tutor to lead the delivery of accredited fitness qualifications, including:
Level 1 Award in Fitness & Physical Activity
Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instructing
Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training
This role involves working with learners from a variety of backgrounds, including those on probation, long-term unemployed individuals, and members of marginalised communities. Your role will include teaching, assessing, and guiding learners from enrolment through to successful completion — helping them build confidence, skills, and access to employment.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality sessions in line with qualification standards and awarding body requirements.
Facilitate both practical and theory-based learning for diverse groups with varying abilities and educational histories.
Assess learner work and progress in accordance with agreed criteria and internal quality assurance processes.
Liaise with internal verifiers and support learners in preparing portfolios and completing required assignments.
Deliver inclusive, trauma-informed teaching that adapts to individual needs and barriers.
Maintain accurate and timely records of attendance, learner progress, assessments, and feedback.
Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement of our training offer.
