Role requirements

- Develop and execute a biddable acquisition strategy across multiple territories to deliver benefit over short, medium and long term
- Work closely with the Head of Commercial to plan, test and scale new activity and campaigns across paid search, social and native in highly competitive markets
- Boost performance intelligence via reporting and feedback loops into paid media strategy, maximising advertising ROI, top line growth and business objective delivery
- Manage, mentor and recruit a growing team of paid media specialists
- Create a framework for operational excellence within paid media, including process refinement and automation
- Ensure exceptionally high standards are met and maintained by all members of the team
- Harness a variety 1st and 3rd party data sources to extract insights and opportunities
- Provide significant input to data strategy and proprietary technology development
- Manage and nurture relationships with media platforms
- Develop a test and learn approach to all aspects of paid media
- Champion the value of paid media across the business and ensure broad understanding of the department and its role in overall company growth


Person requirements

- Minimum 8 years digital marketing experience with a focus on paid advertising
- Minimum 2 years` experience in a Head Of role, leading growth strategy across multiple biddable channels
- Hands-on experience earlier in paid media career, creating and optimising campaigns using AdWords, Bing and Facebook on a day to day basis
- Natural leader and motivator of teams and individuals
- Inquisitive nature and keen problem solver
- Highly proficient Excel/Sheets user
- Friendly and personable character
- High energy with drive and desire to succeed
