Job Description

Our client a well known company in Dubai is recruiting a Head Of Recruitment, This role will liaise with all Departments, Business Units and external agencies (recruitment agencies) to understand and meet the recruitment needs of the company, whilst continually developing the service offer
To manage the Recruitment team to assist in delivering the recruitment goals.
Develop a strategic and centralised approach for local and overseas recruitment meeting the business needs;
Providing professional support and advice on best practice recruitment and selection to Business units and departmental managers;
Develop and maintain standard job descriptions, salary expectations and person specifications, in line with legal requirements;
Devise, run and evaluate selection / recruitment processes including interviews, selection tests, psychometric tests, personality questionnaires and various group activities to meet the Business needs
Create transparent and consistent ways of working with the selected overseas recruitment agents, with the aim to create an outsourced overseas resource, which maintains the company brand integrity. With suitable service level agreements & KPI’s
Writing job advertisements and deciding how and where jobs are advertised and providing feedback on success of filling roles. Tracking non conformances where unapproved adverts appear and take the necessary action to maintain the company Brand
Develop online recruitment options
Develop creative recruitment solutions if the organisation is experiencing difficulties in attracting the appropriate level and quality of staff;
Screening application forms, short listing applicants and reference checks for selected candidates where specified;
Keep up to date with current employment legislation and ensure that line managers are effectively briefed on any relevant changes;
Training staff in interviewing techniques and on the role of the assessor at a selection centre;
Develop and maintain relationships with overseas embassies in particular: Indian/Pakistani/Filipino/Nepalese/Kenyan to understand any changes they are implementing.
