Job Description

A global enterprise client is looking for an Infrastructure Project Manager ideally with Prince2 experience to join their Corporate Portfolio IT Team responsible for delivering infrastructure-based projects. As a Project Manager working from their global head office you will be tasked with the full project life-cycle delivery of business-critical infrastructure projects.

Your key tasks as a Project Manager include:
• Manage and deliver a number of concurrent projects predominantly infrastructure orientated
• Ensure appropriate methodologies (Prince2) are followed in the delivery of projects, so business requirements, quality, time and budget are met
• Work closely with the key business stakeholders to ensure that projects are properly scoped, prioritised, and planned (PID).
• Create and manage all project documentation
• Plan the project and tasks monitoring the progress, resolving issues, etc
• Project budgetary management, monitor expenditure against delivered and realised benefits as the project progresses.

The essential skills for this Project Manager position are:
• Proven Project Management experience of infrastructure based projects such as LAN/ WAN/ Desktop/ Data Centre/ Server/ Operating system upgrades, migration, rollouts or deployments
• You must have delivered complex projects concurrently, including infrastructure and some business change activities.
• Your Projects value must range from £500k - £3m per project.
• Possess a successful track record for delivering time-sensitive technology projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with different project management and software development methodologies including Prince2, PMP or PMI.
• Able to understand business processes and enable technology solutions to support business needs.
• Any experience in logistics, transportation or distribution would be a major benefit.
