Job Description

Our client is a UK Leader in Energy Solutions currently seeking an IT Systems Developer & Designer reporting into the Support Services Manager.

Job Purpose
To take responsibility and control of the full application development lifecycle and to deliver applications that show clear improvements in productivity in all areas of the business.

Key Duties
• Full lifecycle application development
• Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages.
• Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD).
• Investigate, analyse and document reported defects.
• Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects.
• Create, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harnesses.
• Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates.
• Integrate software with existing systems.
• Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation.
• Develop the design and functionality of a company-wide intranet within SharePoint 2010 and utilise SharePoint’s full functionality.
