Pay Rate: GBP12.64

Hours per week: Monday to Friday - 08:00 - 15:30 - 40 hours per week

Role Overview

We`re looking for a Janitor to support our client`s site in Edinburgh

At OCS, our cleaners play an important part in providing safe, clean environments in which our customers can thrive in their workspaces.

You will be carrying out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins and cleaning washrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

- To provide a significant contribution to overall efficiency, effectiveness and contract profitability and must, therefore, play its part in the overall delivery of service.
- To support the site supervisor with the implementation of an integrated approach for the delivery of all contracted services ensuring that all works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
- Please note that some cleaning duties and supervision of cleaning operatives may currently fall under the janitorial role. Ground Maintenace Duties also to include gritting around the site and litter picking.
- Stock control.
- Porterage and moving of furniture.


About You:

- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
- Sound knowledge of understanding and developing safety documentation.
- Some maintenance experience would be preferred.
