Job Description

The main purpose of the role is to ensure the smooth and effective management of the Merchandise Department, leading the team in all aspects of work. Mentor and coach staff to enable them to realise their potential and assist them to deliver quality to clients. Develop and grow Clients by increasing both turnover and profitability. To maintain high standards within the department, and help improve quality in all areas. To motivate and promote good working practices to the team.

Key Tasks:
•Work to Senior Manager’s instruction as well as on your own initiative.
•Organise and lead team meetings, provide guidance, direction, motivation and mentoring to staff.
•Develop and grow Clients by increasing both turnover and profitability, be proactive with Clients for further opportunities.
•Communication with the Client on a continual and regular basis by telephone, email and visits.
•Create job instructions and/or project plans and monitor progress.
•Liaise with relevant departments within the business accordingly.
•Day to day prioritisation and management of workload.
•Supply reports for Clients and Company as agreed.
•Understand and adhere to the standards set out in Client Service Level Agreements where applicable.
•Continually monitor and maintain quality throughout the Company.
•Ensure you and your team work efficiently and consistently.
•Be versatile in the approach to work ensuring flexibility at all times.
•Regularly check the quality of your teams work.
•Ensure work is completed accurately within targets set.
•Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately.
•Provide Client Satisfaction at all times.
•Support all team members.
•Carry out such additional tasks as may from time to time be reasonably requested.
