.NET Software Developer (VB.Net, C#, SQL Server, LINQ, CSS, HTML, JavaScript)

Are you a mid-weight .NET Developer with impressive skills in VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, LINQ, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, IIS and Crystal reports?

To continue our high level of service, we are on the lookout for a mid-weight .NET Developer / Web Programmer to assist in the software development of our EPOS, Stock Management and E-Commerce applications. This primarily involves converting the existing applications to VB.NET.

The .NET Software Developer / Web Developer will enhance and create e-commerce websites and develop our existing .NET desktop applications. The role is within a small, supportive team, reporting to our lead developer. Make sure you get in touch today if this is the role you’ve been waiting for!

.NET Software Developer / Web Developer Duties:
• Enhance and create e-commerce websites
• Develop existing .NET desktop (forms based) applications
• Support the conversion of the existing VB6 EPOS and stock management applications to VB.NET

Web Programmer / .Net Developer Person Specification:
• Mid-weight / mid-range development skills
• Commercial experience in a similar role would be ideal
• Skills required: VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, LINQ, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, IIS, C# and Crystal reports
• Knowledge of Silverlight would be advantageous
• Experience with the development of stock management systems would be ideal for this role but not essential
• Self-motivated and organised
• Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
• Process-minded
• Excellent communication skills
