Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated .NET Developer to join our development team working across client projects. You will be responsible for designing, building, testing, debugging and documenting web applications working in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Experience:
Formal IT qualifications or university degree are preferable but not essential if relevant industry experience can be demonstrated. You must have at least 3 years experience developing browser based solutions using ASP.NET technologies (preferably C#). Experience or an appreciation of current Content Management technologies would be advantageous.

- Expert hands-on knowledge of Microsoft ASP.NET (C#) 2.0 and above
- Hands-on knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS
- Hands-on knowledge of Java Script, AJAX, DHTML
- Strong working knowledge developing cross platform/browser compatibility (IE, Firefox, Safari, Opera, etc.) for dynamic web applications
- Familiarity with and adherence to web standards and current accessibility standards
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good problem solver
- Must be able to take initiative to be productive and efficient.
- Must be able to function independently and still work well in a "team oriented" environment.

Optional Skills and Experience:
- Hands-on knowledge of XSLT
- Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies such as WCF, ASP.NET MVC or ASP.NET Dynamic Data
- Experience with source control tools such as Subversion
- Experience of jQuery and Microsoft ASP.NET AJAX
- Experience writing technical specifications
- Experience with CMS products such as SDL Tridion, Microsoft Sharepoint, Umbraco
- Experience with search technologies such as Lucene, PolySpot, Verity/Autonomy
