You will be an integral part of our busy team, managing and undertaking a varied Office Administrator role. The role

This is an exciting opportunity to fulfil a pivotal role within the company. As an Office Administrator role your role will be covering several areas within finance, customer care and general office function. Your responsibilities and tasks will include:

- General office - dealing with incoming telephone calls, correspondence, email/post and managing / maintaining office supplies e.g. stationery; taking and circulation of team meeting minutes and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
- Processing orders - managing all incoming orders, processing orders and invoices. Keeping note of all stock and place orders when necessary.
- Credit control -follow up on outstanding debt.
- Quote / orders - monitor and update.
- Purchase ledger - process invoices / expenses and undertaking checks against purchase orders, querying mismatches and ensuring correct approval and coding; posting invoices on to QuickBooks.
- Project procurement - Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data ensuring project files are updated with relevant materials, serial numbers etc. and generate handover packs for all installations.
- Customer care - receiving and logging of all jobs and scheduling of customer appointments for maximum efficiency; passing of scheduled jobs to the rest of the team and follow up on visit issues if/as applicable.
- Social Media - Creating captivating content for our social media sites, which include writing blogs, articles, posts and multimedia content.
- Supporting internal processes and suggesting improvements to internal documents and procedures as necessary.
- Providing support and assist colleagues whenever necessary.


Desired Skills & Experience

- Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role. We anticipate the right person will ideally have at least 5 years previous experience (preferably in the renewable industry).
- Proficient in all MS Office software, especially Excel to an intermediate level.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ideally have previous experience of `Quickbooks` accounting and `PaperLess` document management systems.
- Highly numerate with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities.
- Hold a relevant qualification or be studying towards BSc / BA in office administration or similar. Or have the equivalent experience.
