Job Description

A lovely opportunity as a Project Manager has arisen to work for a renowned fashion online retailer. You will be a second jobber who has worked in IT projects, although not necessarily as the Project Manager.

The role requires a Project Manager who can see & communicate the project outcome clearly. That person will work well with the various teams within IT, other departments & suppliers by building good relationships. They will be able to overcome obstacles and deliver quality projects on time as a Project Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES AS A PROJECT MANAGER

·Manage the definition of the project objective and requirements, and then their inevitable change during the project. This requires bringing business representatives and team members with you in the vision for the change.

·Drive the development team and user representatives through solution design and architecture activity.

·When appropriate the Project Manager will manage the implementation of package based solutions.

·Actively ensure that the right level of modelling, collaboration, and documentation is achieved throughout the project.

·Assist the business in implementation activity, including user acceptance testing and user training.

·Produce and manage the project plan. This includes managing stakeholders, planning resources, then tracking and reporting progress.

·Manage and mitigate risks, and ensure that issues are dealt with efficiently and appropriately.
