Job Description

Project Manager / Works Manager
Based North Lincolnshire - Civils / Water / Pipelines

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager or Works Manager who is looking for a new challenge and possibly their next career move?

The successful candidate will form part of a small management team and will be responsible for overseeing the production aspect of the project. Previous experience of managing significant civil engineering contracts, specifically major pipeline contracts, is essential as the candidate will have considerable responsibility for ensuring that our project is completed on time, on budget and to the highest standard. In addition to this, the role will involve liaising with both the technical and commercial teams on a regular basis in order to drive the programme forward.

We expect the postholder to ensure strict compliance with legislation and our internal policies and procedures, particularly relating to Health & Safety, environmental and quality control. In addition, the candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills and will have previous experience in the water industry.

Previous experience of managing and motivating a team which includes significant direct labour and company owned equipment would be a distinct advantage. The successful candidate will have experience of working in a partnership and will understand the importance of liaising with the local community.
