Job Description

Quality, Environmental & Health and Safety Advisor Shropshire based with travel

Our Client delivers major civil engineering and construction projects whilst continually providing high quality standards & value to their Clients mainly through repeat business and partnered opportunities.

Due to the award of a major contract they are now looking for a team player to provide support and advice to Office and Site staff, primarily on Health & Safety issues whilst providing advice and coaching to managers and employees in Health & Safety best practice. You will promote good Health & Safety in a positive manner, may be asked to deliver training to new employees and conduct safety audits / investigations through to conclusion.

Requirements:
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (or working towards)
Experience within a similar role in the construction industry or a genuine desire to train in this field.
Excellent interpersonal and communication/presentation skills.
An understanding of matters relating to Quality and Environment would also be beneficial, but training to the right candidate could be given.
Self-motivating team player
A full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel to sites across the north of England
Eligible to live and work in the UK
