Research & Development Engineer
Langley Mill

This is a fantastic opportunity to take the lead on the specification and design of test rig solutions and test procedures for automotive engine control units (ECU's).

Responsible For
- Software Development for new test machines and equipment (Labview)
- Production of requirement specifications and test procedures
- Design of software and production of suitable prototypes
- Software testing
- Customer support
- Ensuring that all work procedures to be compliant with the company quality systems
- Develop software technical and user manuals
- The completion of development work within agreed timescales.
- Completion of allocated work to QA standards
- The maintenance of a clean, tidy and safe working environment

The ideal applicant may have an ex-aerospace, automotive or military development background, in particular the development of test-rig solutions for engine simulation, experience with Labview software and CANBUS systems would be an advantage.
