Job Description

The sales floor is divided into 3 different divisions, UK and Eire, EU and ROW (rest of the world).
You will be working in teams of 6 with a team leader, who will be at hand to help you through your
probation period, with structured training to help improve your sales skills, product knowledge and
build on any enthusiasm. It is a fast paced vibrant sales floor that is not for the faint hearted. At
YGT, you will be working with like minded people who have an interest in golf and travel within a

The Role

As a Sales Consultant you will be expected to respond promptly to enquiries that are generated by
phone, email, the website and our white labels products to assist clients in booking all elements of
their golf holiday.

Your Golf Travel aims to offer more than just a booking service. Armed with exceptional venue and product knowledge, our sales team offer a consultancy service for golfers looking to book their next golf holiday to up to 22 countries worldwide. Sales Consultants are expected to establish the client's individual requirements and make recommendations accordingly.

Key Responsibilities

• Selling golf holidays via inbound / outbound leads (target led)

• Phone calls (receiving & making calls to clients and venues, minimum numbers in place)

• Emails (quotes to clients and communication with the venues)

• Calculating costs & preparing package quotes

• Creating your own client database

• Managing customer accounts on the Your Golf Travel Database

• Confirming all bookings with venues and customers

• Collecting customer feedback

• Dealing with amendments to booking details where necessary (tee times, group numbers,
