Location: Birmingham

Salary: GBP17,500 - GBP22,000 per year

Hours: Monday to Friday

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

About us

At TEK, we specialise in the design and manufacture of Natural ventilation systems, louvres, and acoustics.

An opportunity has arisen for a Sales/ production Administrator; predominately supporting the whole team in a wide range of duties.

This role will be set in a manufacturing environment and although mainly office based, you will be expected to spend time in and work around the manufacturing area supporting the Works Director, ensuring components are ordered swiftly and correctly and orders are meeting customer requirements.

We are looking for a passionate motivated person who isn`t afraid of a demanding workload and has ambition to develop their career.

Position Summary

- Responsible for all incoming orders and issuing into our factory
- Chasing orders when required
- Liaise with Works Director to go through production work each day and any order requirements the factory needs
- updating stock reports
- Liaising with customers and factory on order queries
- booking transport
- raise purchase orders
- Raising delivery notes and invoices
- Working with external sales team in preparing and issuing quotations.
- Build successful relationships with customers
- Answering incoming calls and emails and dealing with promptly
- Full training will be given


About you

- We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who will welcome the responsibility of this role
- Good IT skills with working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, excellent communication, and time management skills,
- Determined and sociable with a can-do attitude
- Good attention to detail with high degree of accuracy
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently on own initiative and to contribute as part of the wider TEK team.
- experience of working in a manufacturing / factory environment
