Job Title: Security Officer - Drake Circus

Location: Drake Circus Shopping Centre

Pay Rate: GBP12.50

Hours per week: Variable Shift Rota - 37.5 hours per week

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Security Officer to join our passionate and driven Security team based at our client`s site in Drake Circus Shopping Centre. You will ensure the safety and security of the employees, visitors, and client`s property on the estate, by maintaining a good corporate image and high standards of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

- Recording of vehicles to site - registration number and time of arrival/departure.
- Monitor site CCTV and be fully conversant with the CCTV monitoring and recording system on-site and follow up on any alarms that may occur.
- Check emails and respond as required
- Site door check and perimeter when production not running.
- Completing regular site patrols and inspections of client`s premises in accordance with the assignment Instructions.
- To show a professional security presence throughout the estate.
- Greet visitors with excellent customer service while following security procedures.
- Maintain an accurate record of the daily occurrence book, ensuring that all events are logged correctly.
- To fulfil health and safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the company`s Health & Safety policy and Health & Safety Management plans.


About You:

- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
- Have a good understanding of the Assignment Instructions.
- This position requires an in date SIA licence.
- First Aid training is an advantage.
- Able to interact at all levels from visitors to senior management.
- Computer literate.
- SIA licensed essential.
