Job Description

Talented & ambitious Mechanical Design Development R&D Engineer who is eager to work on existing & new products that are used in the manufacture of state of the art Micro & Nano technology products.
Must have degree in Mechanical/Physics or other hard science

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Designing improvements, new functions and new variants of AML’s aligned wafer bonding machines.


Person specification: (Skills, Experience, Qualifications necessary to do the job

Good degree in Mechanical Engineering or Physics or other hard science and strong Engineering background
- engineering design and development
- 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks

Experience of developing low volume high value, precision Electro-mechanical equipment

Practical experience of either semiconductor or vacuum equipment & instrumentation.

At home working with Quality systems such as: ISO9001.


As a Mechanical Design Engineer, your role will involve working in a multi-faceted team and with external suppliers and potentially customers, therefore good communication skills and the ability to plan and manage your time are extremely important.
