Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Co-ordinator to work for an international Oil and Gas client based in Aberdeen. Due to continuous growth, they are looking to add to their existing team. The successful candidate will be required to actively manage, co-ordinate and support all asset management activities from enquiry through quotation, supply, invoicing and closure. You will also be required to handle basic technical, commercial and operational queries with clients on a daily basis so a professional approach and customer service is paramount. Ideally candidates will be qualified within a Mechanical Engineering discipline with an interest in moving into the valve industry, however candidates with demonstrable industry experience will be considered. Excellent opportunity for progression.

Job Description
1 - Ensure all activities performed or co-ordinated are done safely and accurately in accordance with all relevant legislation, policies and company guidelines
2 - Co-ordinate customer enquiries, establishing a clear work scope, timely/appropriate response and a thorough contract review
3 - Co-ordinate expediting actions to ensure on-time shipments and prompt invoicing, following up with invoice queries as appropriate to final closure
4 - Ensure ERP (Oracle) system is accurately maintained and data processed on a timely basis to meet Pentair and customer requirements
5 - Co-ordinate customer related administration activities and technical queries with appropriate support staff
6 - Provide leadership, direction, training and support to a team of Co-ordinators/ Administrators

Candidate Skills
• Ideally candidates will be Time served/Degree qualified in a Mechanical Engineering discipline however candidates with demonstrable industry experience will be considered.
• Ideally will have previous experience working within the Valve Sector.
•Able to work under pressure meeting set targets
•Ideally have engineering knowledge or previous experience of working within a projects / co-ordination based role.
•Preferably a background from within the Oil & Gas / Valve industry
