Senior Support Worker at St. Johns School and College

£24,876 per annum

Brighton and Hove (Peacehaven included)

Along with sharing the same passion, the ideal candidate will have:

3 years’ experience in a Health and Social Care Setting, a LD setting is desirable
A positive attitude and be an outgoing individual
Outstanding communication skills
A passion for empowering children and young people

Some of your duties will include:

Being the leader on shift
Managing staff effectively, including undertaking investigations into misconduct where required
Management of staff probations and 1-2-1s. Including promotion of professional development
Delegation of work to teams and individuals
Promoting the emotional health and self-esteem of the young people
You will also support young people in making their own decisions.
