Job Description

Our client is a long established NSI Gold approved Security Installation Company, Essex. They currently require an experienced integrated service engineer with knowledge of CCTV, PC based Access Control and Intruder Alarm, and IP knowledge based in London or surrounding the M25 .

As an experienced service engineer you will be able to demonstrate experience in fault finding, maintenance and small installations, working with Intruder alarm panels, communicators, digital CCTV and PC based access control systems.

Responsibilities will include, Service, maintenance and fault finding on CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm Systems.
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be part of the call out team and be required to keep all paper work up to date.

Required Skills
Min. 5 years’ experience working with CCTV & Access Control on a continuous basis.
Training experience with a Security Systems company.
CCTV - Have worked with a range of cameras DVRs and NVR’s. Networking experience an advantage.
Access control - experience with both PC based and standalone access control systems.
Intruder Alarms – knowledge of old and new panel, communicators and a understanding of current standards.
Be able to demonstrate a knowledge of a wide range of manufactures products, ideally Janus, PAC, Paxton, Galaxy, Menvier, Indigo Vision, Dedicated Micros and BPT.

This is an exciting position for an engineer seeking to join an established company who aims to help staff progress further in the future.

Salary will be between £24k to £28k dependent upon experience, plus company vehicle and PDA mobile phone. All PPE, Company uniform and test equipment supplied. 20 days Holiday plus bank holidays increasing to 25 days holiday after completion of 5 years employment.
