Salary: GBP40,000 to GBP45,000 plus OTE

Main Purpose

Reporting to the Commercial Director the Sponsorship Sales Manager is responsible for taking the lead in the sales process to exceed commercial targets. This role is responsible for pin-pointing potential clients, building productive relationships and delivering outstanding conversion rates resulting in revenue growth aligned to the portfolios growth strategy. The ideal candidate will relish the challenge of taking full ownership of an entire portfolio in an entrepreneurial environment. They will be ambitious, used to working to the highest of standards and interested in building both their personal reputation and that of Maddox Events. You will be responsible for successfully achieving outreach targets, understanding client`s challenges and strategy in line with Diversity and Inclusion, whilst working closely with the portfolio series` Marketing, Creative, Operations and Production teams.

Responsibilities

- Selling sponsorship for allocated events.
- Staying ahead of monthly tracking figures, as well as the short and long-term project targets.
- Building a large book of high-level clients from networks, media, events and business sources.
- Generating own leads through competitor analysis, industry news and research.
- Pitching to senior decision makers from local and global organisations.
- Ability to cross-sell.
- Building strong working relationships with clients and formulating how to enhance their experience and expenditure.
- Developing a thorough understanding of our products, the industry and our competitors.
- Liaising and working with the Marketing, Production and Operations teams to ensure the delivery of revenue targets.


Educational Level/Experience

- Educated to Degree level.
- Minimum of two years of experience in sponsorship sales consistently hitting high-level targets.
- Previous sales training with a focus on high-value sales.
- Understanding of diversity and inclusion and the importance of it in industries across the board.
- Account management experience is desirable.
