Job Description

Strategic HRM Business Systems Analyst – (UML)
Business Systems Analyst required for a niche software development company based in Nottingham.
This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a growing team and participate and lead workshops with internal and external stakeholders to gather comprehensive system requirements.
The successful Business Systems Analyst will be highly experienced in Case tools such as Enterprise Architect and UML modelling. A sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools is also essential.
Key Skills:
• Document International requirements through the use of User Stories, Use Cases, domain models, process models and other UML methodologies as required
• Liaise with internal project teams to design software solutions
• Present proposed UI designs for new systems through the use of screen mock-up and prototyping tools
• Take ownership of products and liaise with Development and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle to track requirements and to ensure specification compliance
• Create and maintain functional specifications and other project artefacts
• Contribute to the formulation of ideas for new products
• Contribute to and manage product feature backlogs and roadmaps
• Assist in the adoption of appropriate project methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Technical aptitude to facilitate working alongside technical teams
• Awareness of current trends in technology and user-experience design
• Experience of working in Agile Scrum environment

• Experience of working as a Business Analyst on a variety of International projects.
• A professional manner and ability to develop effective working relationships with colleagues, clients and third parties
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to produce clear documentation tailored appropriately for the intended audience
• Ability to prioritise tasks and communicate any issues in order to seek a resolution and to ensure timely completion
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to adapt to differing requirements as the situation demands
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines
