Job Description

We are working with a Global energy services company who provide a wide range of Engineering, Production and Maintenance services to global Oil & Gas and Power Generation industries.

The Role

Reporting to the Customer Support Manager, you will be focused on providing an efficient customer service within the Field Service business stream. Amongst the key responsibilities you will carry out all Field Service activities as requested and liaise with customer representatives, the Customer Support Manager, Technical Support Manager and the Head of Field Service.

As a representative of the business, you will attend site meetings; compile field service reports and ensure that all tools and spares are relevant and available for the job. In addition you will also provide support and assistance to the Technical Helpdesk where required and have company, client, environment health and safety responsibilities.

The Person

Due to the nature of the service provided, product knowledge of gas turbines is essential alongside the ability to interpret technical drawings. You will be at NVQ/SVQ/NC level (or equivalent) with sufficient time served work experience. To perform this role you must have UKOOA Medical and Basic Offshore Survival Training Certificate.

Naturally, you will possess good communication skills and be able to plan effectively. With a Gas Turbine background you will have fault finding and diagnosis skills which are essential in this role as is the ability to interpret technical requests from customers and internal management. Due to the customer service focus and the need to report accurately, you will have excellent report writing skills and be computer literate. Alongside these essential aspects, you will be accustomed to working autonomously, have a strong customer service ethos and be effective under pressure.
