Job Description

Our East Midlands based client is one of the world's fastest growing, most forward thinking security and facilities management led businesses. They are currently looking to appoint a Vetting and Screening Co-ordinator to be based in their Nottingham office. The purpose of the role is to assist the HR Department by ensuring that all employees are screened to British Standard BS7858 and support the business with other administrative tasks. The role has the core hours of Monday to Friday 0830 to 1730 and has the following key responsibilities.

1. Carry out the vetting of all employees to meet the demanding requirements of British Standard BS7858 Security Screening of Employees, sending out reference requests, chasing for replies and further information, checking the content of replies.
2. Ensure that the personal files are created and maintained in good order.
3. Carry out the annual checks to prove Right to Work in the UK.
4. Assist with HR administration.
5. Answer the phone and either deal with queries or forward the calls.
6. Order stationery and supplies for the office and check deliveries and invoices.
7. Check and distribute incoming faxes to the office.
8. Ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act at all times and maintain utmost confidentiality.
9. Assist with ad hoc projects, as delegated by the Head of HR.
10. Ensure compliance with all Company rules and regulations and ensure own behaviour sets a good example to colleagues.

Candidates will ideally have the following qualities. NB These skills will be tested at interview

Salary £14k, 25 days holiday
